During the Basic Engineering phase all production processes \u2013 powder detergents, liquid detergents, fabric softeners and disinfectants \u2013 were analyzed in depth and optimization opportunities were identified with the Client\u2019s staff help. Process Flow Diagrams and mass and heat balances were elaborated, followed by detailed Piping &amp; Instrumentation Diagrams and comprehensive Utility Diagrams (steam, cooling water, chilled water, compressed air). By the end of the Basic Engineering phase, a total cost estimation with an accuracy of +\/- 30% was prepared, which subsidized the company\u2019s direction in the analysis of the economic viability of the project.<\/p><p>After adjustments in production capacities arising from the economic assessment, the company decided to move forward with the project, and thus contracted Pro-Tech for the Detail Engineering in the disciplines Process, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation.
